Wow, after almost being the first contestant to use the “chuck bucket” Isaiah “Big Red” Navarro prevails and takes Week 5 at the Native New Yorker Wing Eating Contest brought to you by Right Honda and Bud Lite at 95th ave and Glendale! Pictures will show that Big Red was almost disqualified as it looked to all the fans and the hosts Roc and Manuch, that he was going to discharge his 2lbs and 3 ounces of wings. But Big Red, who works for a valley hospital as a dietician, did not upset the crowd, and held on for the victory. Shawn Scully gave him a run finishing at 2lbs. Week 6 stays in the West Valley as the contest shifts to the Arrowhead location at 83rd ave and Bell. We would also like to thank Rocco, the DJ, who will be accompanying Roc and Manuch each week spinning the tunes!!!
