*Barry Bonds to the Valley of the Sun?  Rumors are flying around that the Diamondbacks might have some interest in the Home Run King.  Roc hates Bonds, but likes the idea.  It’s not just a baseball decision, it’s a business decision.  People might not like BB, but they will show up to watch him play.  Manuch thinks he’s a club house cancer who could break apart the team.

*NBA players were able to sign contracts with the team’s they have been talking to the last week and Sean Deveney, NBA Writer for Sporting News joined R&M.  They discussed Elton Brand signing with Roc’s hometown 76ers, the Warriors trying to make up for losing Baron Davis and not getting Brand, and what might happen with Stephon Marbury.

*Brad Steinke of FSN AZ was up next with his weekly spot.  The guys continued what was a show very heavy with baseball.  More on Bonds and the latest happenings with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

*Today’s Home Town Report focused on Tampa Bay.  Joe Girvan from Catch 47-TV checked in and went around Tampa’s sports scene.  The Rays are cruising, the Buccaneers have a QB problem, the Lighting have a familiar face, Barry Melrose behind then bench, and University of South Florida Football tries to build on a surprising season.
